SKU: PETZKITCH2OZCHUCHUCHUCHUHUASI (pronounced Chew chew hoo aw see) whole plant extract is a large Amazonian canopy tree found in the Peruvian high and low selva (jungle) and rain forests that can reach up to 100 feet in height. It is characterized by its dense red and brown bark. Peruvian indigenous people translate CHUCHUHUASI as trembling back and/or shaking back, indicating its traditional use for back pain, arthritis, muscle aches and rheumatism.
In Peruvian herbal medicine, CHUCHUHUASI is used as a general maintenance aid to help address a variety of aches and pains (back, joints, muscles, stomach, arthritis, rheumatism) as well as for conditional needs related to osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, to help boost immunity, to help support adrenal health, for bronchitis and diarrhea and as a whole body tonic (strengthen and tone body systems) .
Primary natural plant chemicals of CHUCHUHUASI include use as a muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, anti-arthritic, broad based analgesic (back, muscles, stomach, arthritis, rheumatism), endocrine regulator, immune stimulant, and tonic (tones, balances, strengthens overall body functions)
CHUCHUHUASI is strongly antioxidant and adaptogenic, and contains healthy natural plant chemicals including novel alkaloids, triterpenes, flavonols, proanthocyanidins, proanthycyanins, tannins and sesquiterpenes.
It is most noted for its novel alkaloid content which may help inhibit enzyme production of protein kinase C, also called PKC. PKC has been identified as a catalyst for wide spread inflammation in the body and excess PKC is linked to many diseases, including arthritis, cardiovascular disease, cancer, tumors and asthma.
CHUCHUHUASI also contains specific natural plant chemicals that may help inhibit excessive aldose reductase, and may be an important nutritional and phytochemical dietary addition for pets diagnosed with diabetes and diabetic nerve damage.
Research on CHUCHUHUASI has determined it has a synergistic effect against general illness and its adaptogen content may help up regulate immune health (i.e. osteoarthritis) or down regulate immune health (rheumatoid arthritis) as needed, may also help relax or stimulate muscles and the body as needed, may help address conditional needs related to slipped discs, bronchitis, upset stomach, influenza, cognitive health and nausea.
