The types of stones, gravel, crystals and grain that are managed gently yet effectively by this stone-crushing plant marvel include calcium oxalate, struvite, uric acid, cystine, calcium phosphate, silica and xanthine stones. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Standard timeframe for use is 3-6 months for active stones/crystals, as well as potential reparative benefits with longer use to help limit future stone/crystal cycles. For large stones or risk of urethral blockage, it may require doubling the dose for 7-10 days. Speak with your vet if your pet’s conditional needs have been deemed an emergency.
- Your pet may drink more water and require more frequent bathroom breaks while using Break It Up! This is normal and a healthy response to the natural detoxification process. Filtered, fresh water daily is recommended to help support natural lymphatic cleansing.
- It is suggested you ADD in a pet friendly prebiotic/probiotic to help maintain gut health and electrolyte balance.

- If your pet is AT RISK of an unpassable stone OR urethral blockage, it is suggested that you double the dose (known as a loading dose) for the first 7-10 days.
- Normal time frame for use is 3 months if this is the first crystal or stone cycle for your pet. If this is the second or greater, use for 4-6 months, and add a probiotic while using Break It Up.
- You should not see physical stones in your pet's stools or urine. Break It Up contains Chanca Piedra, and its literal translation means stone crusher and stone breaker and passed stones and crystals will likely not be visible.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Contraindicated for pets that are pregnant, nursing, hypotensive, diabetic, on blood thinners or diuretics, without Vet supervision. Possibly contraindicated for pets with allergies to eggplant, a night shade plant. Strongly anti-microbial. Suggested to add a pet specific Probiotic to help maintain native gut flora and electrolyte balance. Your pet may drink more water, need more frequent bathroom breaks. DRUG INTERACTIONS
May potentiate (strengthen) insulin, diabetic, diuretic, hypertensive, beta-blocker and other heart medications (including chronotropic (decreases heart rate), inotropic (weakens muscular contractions) drugs) and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (elevated blood pressure and congestive heart failure). Monitor blood sugar levels.
CAUTIONS
Suggested to add a pet specific probiotic. Cautioned for pets with an allergy to eggplant, a night shade plant. Please monitor blood sugar levels.
DOSAGE
(Each topper contains approximately 140 scoops. Suggested to use HEAPING scoops. A scoop is supplied with each topper. A heaping scoop = approx. 1/32 of a tsp for cats and aprpox. = 1/16 tsp for dogs.)
For dogs and cats up to 12 pounds: 1 heaping scoop daily.
For dogs and cats 13-24 pounds: 2 heaping scoops daily.
For dogs 25-49 pounds: 2 heaping scoops, twice daily.
For dogs 50+ pounds: 3 heaping scoops, twice daily.
