Contraindications

Do not use if your pet is pregnant or nursing, about to be bred, scheduled for surgery, before or after an organ or bone marrow transplant or with diuretics. May be contraindicated for pets with uncontrolled blood pressure and heart rate and for pets with diabetes as may mildly elevate blood sugar levels. 

Suggested to add a pet friendly Probiotic to diet. If you are not feeding a premium, holistic diet, cautioned for use over 30 days with out a 5-7 day break.   

Drug Interactions

May potentiate (strengthen) Coumadin, blood-thinning, blood pressure (anti-hypertensive), immune suppressant, cardiovascular (may decrease heart rate), diuretic and diabetic medications. May change have some medications changed by the liver include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion) and others. 

Cautions

Cautioned for pets with diabetes, uncontrolled blood pressure or heart rate, pets with cardiovascular disease (may lower blood pressure), pets using diuretic, blood thinners or immune suppressant medications.

Your pet may drink more water and need more bathroom breaks. 

Dosage

For dogs and cats 13-24 pounds: 2 scoops daily.  

For dogs 25-49 pounds: 2 scoops, twice daily.
