As pet parents you need to know you can trust the quality and purity standards for every product you give your pet.
All Natura Petz Organics products not only meet truly human grade manufacturing standards, (rare in the pet industry) but have been third party tested, as well as have been vet formulated and manufactured for dogs, cats and horses.
To ensure that only authentic plant and marine extracts go into Natura Petz Organics products, all raw materials are subjected to a battery of tests, both in-house as well as tested by third party affiliates, as well as meet all customs and FDA standards for quality, safety and purity.
These standards apply to all plant and marine products and processes:
A microbiological, sanitary analysis is performed which includes the determination of the most probable number of microorganisms (NMP/g) through the methods recommended in the International Pharmacopoeias.
A physical organoleptic quality analysis which encompasses macroscopic, pathogenic and stereoscopic analysis
Particle size (including presence of larva and insect contamination)
Mold contamination
Heavy metal contamination (lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, etc)
Additional testing for moisture content, dissolution and microbial content are performed on every batch, including Aristolochic Acid and Chloramphenicol testing
Color, smell and taste characteristics
Drying and storage conditions
If there is any doubt concerning plant or marine extract identity, a micrographic test is performed
Moisture percentage is analyzed by the gravimetric methods
Ash determination is measured for acceptability
A mold and yeast recount is performed
The finished products undergo an additional analysis which include an aerobes recount on the plaque and microbiological analysis.
A Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) test is conducted on each batch, which is a sophisticated means of identifying the makeup of all individual substances in a given compound. This unique fingerprint confirms the chemical composition, concentration, consistency and authenticity of each and every herb we use, but also requires we use only the highest quality plant and marine constituents available.
A High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) test completes the final analysis, a specific active principle assessment.

We formulate and prepare our products based upon the documented use under traditional medical systems.
We guarantee that the correct species of plant shown on the label matches what is in the bottle.
We use sustainably grown and wild or organically harvested plants and marine products that are not only the freshest and highest quality plants possible but are also free of chemical additives, preservatives, binders, fillers or contaminates.
Prior to leaving South America, our products are viewed by Customs, FDA and USDA officials. When the products arrive in the United States, they are reviewed a second time by Customs, FDA and USDA U.S. Food officials again to further guarantee that every element that goes into Natura Petz Organics products meet the absolute highest standards for purity and safety.
