Contraindications

Contraindicated for pregnant and nursing pets and with diuretics. May be contraindicated for pets with diabetes, hypoglycemia and pets using blood thinners and certain heart medications due to natural coumarin content. Add a pet friendly Probiotic to help support native gut flora. Use for 30 days and take a 5-7 day break unless us is related to an emergency UTI, stone, crystal or blockage situation. Your pet will likely drink more water and need more frequent bathroom breaks. Please consult your vet if your pet has a blockage or a large, unpassable stone.

Drug Interactions

Interacts with diuretic medications. May potentiate insulin and antidiabetic drugs; coumarin content may potentiate blood thinning medications such as Warfarin, and antihypertensive drugs, beta-blocker drugs and other heart medications (including chronotropic and inotropic drugs.) Contains a naturally-occurring phytochemical called geraniin which has been documented with negative chronotropic, negative inotropic, hypotensive and angiogenesis converting enzyme inhibitor effects. May affect how the liver metabolizes certain drugs. Do not exceed suggested dosage.

Cautions

May increase the effect of diabetic, hypoglycemic, blooding thinning, high blood pressure, and diuretic drugs. Have you pet drink plenty of water and take bathroom breaks more frequently. May act as a stimulant for some pets; do not administer after 5pm. Cautioned for long term use due to diuretic effects which may cause electrolyte imbalance. Do not exceed suggested dosage.

Dosage

For dogs and cats up to 12 pounds: 1 scoop daily. 

For dogs and cats 13-24 pounds: 2 scoops daily.  

For dogs 25-49 pounds: 2 scoops, twice daily. 

For dogs 50+ pounds: 3 scoops, twice daily.
