Our PUMPKIN SEED POWDER is a great way to help ensure that your pet is getting the fiber, carbohydrates, and protein levels needed to help balance their diet. The primary benefits of adding PUMPKIN SEED POWDER are to help add fiber, to help aid digestion, to help avoid constipation and to help promote healthy elimination.
Adding soluble fiber has several potential benefits, including to help slow digestion, to help absorb water if mild diarrhea is an issue, and may help resolve mild constipation. By bulking up the stools, it may help promote normal anal gland expression, possibly helping your pet to avoid impacted or infected glands.
Ground pumpkin seeds have been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits for anal gland disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and general prostate and intestinal health. PUMPKIN SEED POWDER may help reduce irritation, inflammation, and pain in the anal glands, and may also help decrease chronic anal gland disease.
PUMPKIN SEED POWDER may be of special interest to cat owners as the soluble fiber may also help relieve hairball problems. The additional fiber can increase the volume of waste in the intestines, allowing your pet to properly digest and eliminate fur that is consumed during grooming, which may help reduce hairballs.
PUMPKIN SEED POWDER contains Vitamins A and B which may help support healthy vision and Vitamin A may help provide some resistance against parasitic larvae as well as a holistic, nutritional support against tapeworms due to cucurbitin content. Cucurbitin is an amino acid that may help provide a level support against some parasites, although it is not suggested to be used as a stand alone parasitic.
Vitamins C and K which may help boost immune, connective tissue, bone and joint health, as well as Omega 3's, iron, copper, calcium and zinc, which may help improve your pet's skin and coat.
PUMPKIN SEED POWDER has been linked to a possible reduced risk for certain cancers related to stomach, breast, lung, prostate and colon. Its high content of antioxidants including mixed carotenoids, Vitamins E and B vitamins, folic acid, oils and minerals which may help reduce inflammation and protect your pet's cells against harmful free radicals.
PUMPKIN SEED POWDER has a robust nutritional profile, including 1.7 grams of fiber, 5 grams of carbs, 7 grams of protein, 13 grams of 6 (6 grams which are Omega 6's), Vitamin K, plus phosphorous, manganese, magnesium, iron, zinc and copper.
Using PUMPKIN SEED POWDER may help fill in magnesium and phosphorous gaps that are commonly deficient in modern diets and with a natural source of magnesium, may have additional health benefits including to help manage blood pressure, blood sugar levels, as well as heart and bone health.
INGREDIENTS; 100% ORGANIC PUMPKIN SEED POWDER
Can be added to any type of diet in dry format or mixed with water to be added as a food topper puree.
CONTRAINDICATIONS; Not specifically contraindicated, but cautioned for use with diuretics.

CAUTIONS: Possibly cautioned for use with diuretics. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Discontinue use immediately if new or worsening symptoms occur. Store in a cool, dry place.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Add powder to your dog or cat's meal daily.
Best if added to canned wet food, home prepared meals and treats, raw, dehydrated or hybrid diets.

Can be fed daily. Can be cooked, baked or added to food in dry or wet (mixed with water to create a puree) form.
For cooking or baking your favorite recipes, replace 1/4 cup of flour for pumpkin powder.
