What is a primary anti-mutagenic? Anti-mutagenics perform a variety of cell supportive actions in the body. Contraindications

Do not use if your pet is pregnant, nursing, suffers from renal insufficiency (kidney diseases) or liver disease. Use caution if your pet has diabetes. Cautioned for dogs and cats with high potassium levels or grape seed allergies.

Drug Interactions

Interacts with liver, water pill and diuretic medications and may interact with Warfarin (Coumadin) and if used with blood thinners, may slow down blood clotting. May decrease the effects of blood pressure medications. May interact with another source of Vitamin C and may increase blood pressure in hypertensive patients. 

Cautions

Use caution if your pet has diabetes. Cautioned for pregnant animals, animals who are nursing or those with liver disease, kidney disease or chronic renal insufficiency.
