What Are Plant Actions?

Unlike synthetic drugs that contain a single or few active drug constituents, herbs contain many natural constituents called plant chemicals, with many active plant properties, often referred to as plant actions.

On average, a single herb may contain between five and 200 separate, active plant chemicals, often referred to as phytochemicals. These phytochemicals are power packed with many medicinal plant actions, all delivered within a single capsule to benefit your dog or cat. Nature is breathtakingly clever and efficient. We like to think of plants as having super powers!

These phytochemicals perform multiple tasks because they contain so many biologically active chemicals that work in concert to boost immunity and provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and antibiotic benefits (plus MUCH, MUCH more), while simultaneously supporting the circulatory, cardiovascular, endocrine, digestive and central nervous systems. We could go on and on. But these are examples of the almost incomprehensible diversity and perfection found in natural plant and marine extracts.

The end result is that plant and marine based herbs address your pet’s body as a whole, fine-tuning each bodily system, to restore health and bring your pet’s body into balance. If you want to think of them as plant ninjas, we understand!
