Rheumatoid Arthritis in Dogs and Cats
Pet supplement for Rheumatoid Arthritis and autoimmune disease in dogs and cats.

Herbal nutrition to help provide relief for symptoms of joint pain, muscle weakness and degenerative conditions in cats and dogs related to rheumatoid arthritis.

The canine and feline musculo-skeletal system has many components including bones, blood vessels, cells, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves and tendons, as well as organs, including the liver, kidneys, and adrenal glands. Age, genetics, injuries and wear and tear can undermine your pet’s joints and connective tissue, causing stiff and aching joints, degenerative disease and triggering inflammatory responses throughout the body.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, progressive disease related to inflammation of the joint. Many things contribute to rheumatoid arthritis, including age, daily wear and tear and we as injuries that cause cumulative damage to the cartilage in the joint. These combined efforts slowly destroys the thin layer of protection surrounding cartilage. Due to this, the body creates an inflammatory reaction which furthers leads to cartilage destruction.

Because of its self-replicating destructive nature, arthritis requires a product that helps to repair and rebuild cartilage and connective tissue, controls your pet’s inflammatory response and supports a healthy immune system.

Arthritis is an immune-mediated disease and may result from infection, trauma such as a ligament tear or rupture, and in certain large breed dogs and cats there may be a genetic predisposition, resulting in malformed limbs such as experience by bull dogs and dachshunds.

Dogs and cats may have arthritis but present no signs of lameness or discomfort, however, it is generally understood that with age, or in cases of performance or working animals, the presence of arthritis can be assumed. Pets with apparent arthritis will present symptoms of lameness, discomfort, swollen joints, pain, creaking, clicking, lethargy, inability to get up or climb stairs and may lose control of front or rear limbs.
